Believe it or not there are a lot of tricks for taking advantage of our new Visionary Fiction Reader’s Pass program and I will give you the low-down.

1. Bring new life to older titles. Just because your first novel is 12 years old doesn’t mean it can’t help you grow your audience. Add your oldest titles to the program and reach new fans.

2. Promote the newest title in a series. When you are about ready to release a new title in a series add the first title in the series prior to release date. Be certain the first book has a sample chapter or two from the new book in it. Even change the cover a bit with a badge saying “Contains two chapters of my new book “TITLE.”

3. Get reviews for your newest title. Add your new title same day to help you get early reviews. Normally, the minimum time in the program is 3 months, but new releases are the exception. Minimum time  here is 1 month.

4. Use the VFAs to your advantage. While we haven’t formally announced the Visionary Fiction Awards yet one way to help your title become a nominee and even a winner, is to put your title in the program.

For example, Reader’s Pass holders and VFA Premium Members all have access to the Reader’s Pas Library. In order to help guarantee a nomination in a category we will all have needed to have read your book. Once you become a nominee, keeping the title in the program for the duration of the awards will be  great exposure and definitely gain you new fans.
