About the VFA

Visionary Fiction is rapidly becoming the genre of choice to express humanity’s evolution of consciousness

What is the Visionary Fiction Alliance?

The Visionary Fiction Alliance began as a web-ring. Three authors of visionary novels, Jodine Turner, Saleena Karim, and Shannan Sinclair met at the  Goodreads Visionary Fiction Group in March 2012 and decided to link up to each other’s blogs as a way of promoting each other and visionary fiction itself.

Other writers joined the conversation and asked to be part of the ring; and soon there were twelve authors, who decided to create a space where they could work together to promote VF.  And so, the Visionary Fiction Alliance was born, with this site going live on August 17, 2012. Since then many other authors, from seasoned veterans to developing novices, have joined our ranks.

Our Mission

As the world evolves away from the Newtonian model of the five senses to the more evolved quantum model that includes the sense of spirit so resurgent today, Visionary Fiction is rapidly becoming the genre of choice to express that evolution and predict the breath-taking future that might follow the anticipated leaps. Under its broader umbrella are now gathering works previously classified as spiritual, metaphysical, or science fiction. The VFA aims to provide a home base and central clearing house for readers, writers, and researchers dedicated to this endeavor.

Our purposes are to:

1. Increase awareness of the genre

2. Help readers discover, explore, and enjoy Visionary Fiction

3. Mentor new writers who wish to explore this genre

4. Provide resources for writers of Visionary Fiction

5. Be a place where readers can find Visionary Fiction books and engage in discussion with the authors.
